नई दिल्ली, सितंबर 2026: भारत ने लगभग 1.10 लाख करोड़ रुपये के बड़े रक्षा अधिग्रहण पैकेज को मंजूरी दे दी है, जिसमें लगभग 98 प्रतिशत नियोजित खरीद भारतीय उद्योग से की जाएगी, जो आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में एक बड़ा धक्का है और देश की घरेलू रक्षा विनिर्माण पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को मजबूत करती है।
प्रस्तावों को 7 सितंबर को रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की अध्यक्षता में रक्षा अधिग्रहण परिषद (डीएसी) द्वारा मंजूरी दे दी गई थी। अनुमोदन के तहत दी गई आवश्यकता की स्वीकृति (एओएन) में सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना के लिए पूंजी अधिग्रहण प्रस्तावों को शामिल किया गया है, जिसमें भूमि, समुद्र और वायु डोमेन में परिचालन तैयारियों को बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से प्रणालियों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला शामिल है।
पैकेज का पैमाना सरकार की आत्मनिर्भर भारत पहल के तहत महत्वपूर्ण स्वदेशी खरीद अभियानों में से एक का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। घरेलू सोर्सिंग पर जोर देने से भारत के रक्षा औद्योगिक आधार को मजबूत करने की उम्मीद है, जबकि विदेशी आपूर्तिकर्ताओं पर निर्भरता कम होगी और महत्वपूर्ण सैन्य आपूर्ति श्रृंखलाओं में लचीलेपन में सुधार होगा।
For the Indian Army, the approved acquisitions include Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Recce Vehicles designed to detect, identify, monitor and mark areas contaminated by hazardous agents. The capability is expected to improve the survivability and operational effectiveness of troops in unconventional warfare and contaminated battlefield environments
The Army will also receive High Mobility Vehicles to strengthen logistics and mobility, particularly in difficult terrain. These vehicles are expected to facilitate the rapid movement of personnel, equipment and supplies while improving logistical resilience
डीएसी ने सेल्फ-प्रोपेल्ड मैकेनिकल माइन लेयर्स को भी मंजूरी दे दी है, जो सेना को चुनौतीपूर्ण परिचालन वातावरण में तेजी से और अधिक प्रतिक्रियाशील माइन-बिछाने की क्षमता प्रदान करती है। युद्ध के मैदान की गतिशीलता का समर्थन करने और बाधाओं और जल क्रॉसिंग से निपटने के लिए लड़ाकू संरचनाओं को सक्षम करने के लिए ट्रॉल टैंक और सर्वत्र ब्रिज सिस्टम को भी मंजूरी दे दी गई है।

For the Indian Navy, the acquisition plan includes Arudhra Radars to replace ageing Air Route Surveillance Radars at Naval Air Stations. The modern radar systems are expected to significantly enhance surveillance and monitoring of maritime airspace
Another important approval covers the design, development and procurement of Marine Gas Turbines. The move is particularly significant for naval self-reliance as indigenous propulsion technology could reduce dependence on foreign vendors and strengthen India’s ability to support the lifecycle requirements of its warships domestically
